6 Days Tarangire – Bagamoyo – Nyerere Safari

Overview of This Safari Adventure

Embark on an immersive 6-day journey through Tanzania’s contrasting wonders — from the wild heart of Tarangire National Park to the coastal charm of Bagamoyo, finishing in the lush and remote wilderness of Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous).

Your journey begins in Tarangire, home to majestic baobabs and one of Africa’s largest elephant populations. The park's life-giving river attracts predators and grazers alike, making it an excellent destination for wildlife viewing in a less-crowded environment.

You then transition from bush to coast as you travel to Bagamoyo, an ancient Swahili town brimming with history. Walk narrow streets lined with colonial-era buildings, visit local craft centers, and enjoy the tranquility of the Indian Ocean beaches.

End your safari in Nyerere National Park, one of Africa’s largest protected areas. Known for its rivers, lakes, and wetlands, Nyerere offers incredible boat safaris, walking safaris, and game drives where you may spot lions, wild dogs, hippos, crocodiles, and more.

This safari blends big game viewing, cultural exploration, and water-based experiences — ideal for travelers seeking diversity and depth in their Tanzanian adventure.
