6 Days Tarangire – Bagamoyo Safari

Overview of This Safari Adventure

Discover two strikingly different landscapes in one unforgettable journey. This 6-day safari combines the elephant-dominated savannahs of Tarangire National Park with the cultural heritage and coastal beauty of Bagamoyo — one of East Africa’s oldest port towns.

Begin your adventure in Tarangire, known as the "Land of Giants" for its towering baobabs and massive elephant herds. With fewer crowds than nearby parks, Tarangire offers intimate game drives and outstanding birdwatching. Spot lions, giraffes, zebras, and hundreds of bird species near the life-giving Tarangire River.

From the bush to the coast, your journey continues to Bagamoyo — a UNESCO Tentative Site on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Walk through history as you explore the town’s Arab-European-African architecture, 19th-century ruins, and slave trade relics. Relax on serene beaches, visit local fishing villages, and immerse yourself in Swahili culture.

This safari is ideal for travelers who seek both wildlife adventure and cultural discovery. With expert guides, seamless transport, and carefully selected accommodations, you'll explore two of Tanzania's hidden gems in just six days.
